Multi-Spindle Coupled Series

The Multi-Spindle Coupled Series is a 7-station precision CNC indexing system. Multiple spindle units are mechanically linked through a drive coupling. When the drive indexes, all coupled spindle positions rotate to the angular position simultaneously. This means multiple workpieces are indexed and presented to the cutting tool at the time in every cycle. This maximises the use of every machine cycle and delivers consistent angular positioning across all stations.

The output improvement comes directly from multi-station machining. By indexing and machining one workpiece at a time on a single rotary table, the Multi-Spindle Coupled Series allows several workpieces to be indexed and machined in parallel within the same CNC cycle. Depending on the spindle count configuration, this can multiply output by two, four or more times compared to a single-station rotary table setup. This is without requiring floor space, additional operators or additional CNC machine time.
