The rotary axis has an indexing accuracy of 45 arc-seconds with 6 arc-seconds repeatability. The tilt axis provides 60 arc-seconds indexing accuracy and 8 arc-seconds repeatability, making the FRC-170A-RC210 suitable for precision multi-axis machining.
The FRC-170A-RC210 uses hydraulic clamping for both the rotary and tilt axes. The clamping system operates at 3.5 MPa (35 kg/cm²), providing strong holding force to keep the table and workpiece stable during machining.
The rotary axis can support a maximum workpiece load of 60 kg when positioned horizontally at 0°. When the rotary axis is tilted from 0° to 90°, the allowable load is 40 kg. Workpiece position and inertia should also be considered when determining the actual usable load.
The rotary axis has a 1:60 speed reduction ratio, while the tilt axis uses a 1:36 reduction ratio. These reduction ratios provide the torque and controlled movement needed for accurate rotary and tilting operations.
The FRC-170A-RC210 is compatible with major CNC servo systems, including FANUC, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, Seimens, Heidenhain and Syntec. Compatible motor models vary between the rotary and tilt axes, allowing the table to be configured for different CNC machine control systems.
